The original meme was posted to X / Twitter and Bluesky by artist Nyazsche in early December 2025. It went viral and inspired redraws and memes referencing it over the following months on sites including Instagram, X, Reddit and more. The meme is sometimes considered a sequel to another Friendship Is Magic meme where Twilight Sparkle tells Fluttershy, "God has a plan for you, Fluttershy, and it's gonna hurt," and Fluttershy replies, "Yay." Purportedly, the meme is a reference to All Tomorrows.

Origin

On May 22nd, 2024, artist Nyazsche posted a meme on X^[1] that shows Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy standing in front of the "Abbey Road" album cover. Twilight Sparkle says, "God has a plan for you, Fluttershy, and it's gonna hurt," and Fluttershy responds, "Yay." The post gained over 27,000 likes in two years.

The image became popular in the MLP fandom over the following years, inspiring redraws and memes.

On December 6th, 2025, Nyazsche posted a meme to X^[2] and Bluesky^[3] that gained over 74,000 likes on the former and 3,500 likes on the latter in seven months. Some consider it a sequel to the 2024 meme. The meme shows Twilight Sparkle and Rarity standing in front of a house. A cube of meat sits between them. Twilight Sparkle tells Rarity, "I used my magic to turn Fluttershy into a flesh cube." Rarity responds, "Absolutely horrid, darling."
