Hi there,

PPLD.org is upgrading from D6 to D7 using a clean D7 instance and migrating data either via Migrate module, or via Feeds somehow. Here’s what is stumping me:

Digital Signature

Posted by mpruitt on April 2, 2014 at 2:47am

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to ask a general question of the group regarding digital signatures.

A digital signature in the truest sense links a unique document and it's contents to the "signature" of the person signing it, and the combination of the two constitutes the digital signature.

What I'm trying to find out is if anyone has done something similar to this:

Event Registration - Anyone using Drupal to manage this function?

Posted by tolnam on August 26, 2013 at 11:08pm

Does anyone have any recommendations of which modules are best to use to handle library event registrations?

Ideally we would want a facility to add custom fields in the signup form by event type so we can have some extra fields like age for children's events. We need to have the ability to generate / export a list of attendees.

Also, automatic generation of email registration confirmation / event reminder emails would be good.

The ability to generate / export a list of attendees.

We do not need a e-commerce facility at this stage.

Any suggestions?

Many Thanks - Megan

Does anybody know why my RSS new books feed looks TOTALLY different on feedburner?

Posted by banoodle on April 3, 2013 at 11:53pm

I'm using Drupal Acquia 6 with the Millennium OPAC Module.

I'm ultimately trying to make it possible for our site visitors to subscribe via email to an RSS view I've created (yes - I know emailing RSS feeds is anachronistic, but this is what the client wants). So I am trying to burn my feed to google feedburner so I can leverage their email subscription and statistics tools (but if anyone knows of a better/pure Drupal solution, I would love to hear about it. Please note: the solution has to allow unauthenticated users to subscribe).

Creating a Library Website

Posted by K4khan on March 31, 2013 at 12:40pm

Hello All

We have been planning to create an extensive online library. I have been looking around in drupal for a couple of days and came across some modules and examples. But still I am wondering if there are specific modules that should be used!

I would like to elaborate our case as follows:
We aim not only to make a catalog of books [with all its specifications, Book Title, Author, Genre, Pages, Publishing Year, Edition, Publisher, Keywords] but also completing it with biographies of authors, book reviews and discussions.

Creating an online book club

Posted by scoflo on March 20, 2013 at 4:44pm

Hello library Drupalers,

I am setting out to create an online book club in Drupal and I am looking for some suggestions/advice.

Here's the basics of the functionality: book club admins create individual book clubs, send out emails to club members, create discussion topics.

Book club members either create a new website account or user their current account to sign up for a book club. Users only post to discussions and receive email pertaining to clubs they sign up for.

Staff Training Materials for Drupal Editors

Posted by cblatchley on February 9, 2013 at 12:56am

Has anyone created training materials for editors on your staff? Our libraries are new to Drupal, and I want to make sure they get the best training possible so they aren't frustrated with the change in platforms.
