The Mars Society is the world's largest and most influential space advocacy organization dedicated to the human exploration and settlement of the planet Mars. Established by Dr. Robert Zubrin and others in 1998, the group works to educate the public, the media and government on the benefits of exploring Mars and creating a permanent human presence on the Red Planet.

How many of you tried to use Agreservation module to implement rental systems on Drupal without success?

FIRST OF ALL, this WILL be for commercial usage and we are working to have ALL needed functionalities to manage a multi rental car system.

Me and some developers have been working on a wordpress plugin to achieve this deal, IN THE RIGHT WAY, and, as a Drupal evangelist, i must say i hate to be doing this for Wordpress....

I’m currently volunteering my Drupal developer services to a nonprofit Bird Rescue group in SF Bay Area. The organization is grass roots which is all volunteer based and no paid staff. We’re looking for 1-2 Drupal developers to help us with improving our website and respond to issues on an as needed basis. Unfortunately, I have very limited time to assist and would love to get some extra support.

We are looking for some short-term additional research on a charity project with a Drupal 7 build. We have found that the work is smaller than what most developers would be prepared to quote for so thought it might be a good opportunity for any developers looking for a piece of charity work. Mostly themeing work.

The purpose of this website is to bring as much data possible together about as many games possible. And this in an imdb-style environment.
It is a promissing project, currently we have about 40.000 games already in the database. But there is many informations missing.

Main taks:
-importing and completing the dataset
-improving the website functionality

There are many things to be done, so anybody who is interested to work on this project is welcome. from web designers to hard coding.

I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction here.
I would like to create a node/page/block/whatever that does the following:

For the sake of simplicity, there are 3 drop down menus. Each menu would have a list of data that is pre-defined. You would see the alpha numeric value only in the drop down, but the items in parenthesis are the values the user would see after they select the initial value and select Go.

-1 (red) -a (box) -x (bag)

I'm currently working on my own website but looking to volunteer or collaborate on a larger project.

Fairly new to Drupal, but I have multiple years of embedded C++ and java experience, with some GUI and database work before that.

I'm located in Seattle if that makes a difference to anyone.

Our research group, the UC Berkeley Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, began building up a Drupal site (http://seti.berkeley.edu) a few years ago to support both scientists in our group and outreach to the general public. We could use some help cleaning up the UI, organizing content and upgrading from Drupal 6 to 7. Ideally you would be located in the SF Bay area and could meet with our group in person, and would be willing to take on this pet project for an extended period of time (not a lot of hours, just be willing to work with us over time).

The Plan

Thanks to the leadership of Allie Micka and R.J. Steinert, the Snowball initiative to provide tools for coordinating and funding Drupal initiatives is coming to the Boston area this long weekend for its first code sprint.

We will focus on building a working alpha so we have something real to share for feedback, to refine, and to build process, message, and governance around.

We'll be working on Friday November 11th, Saturday the 12th, and Sunday the 13th starting at 10am on Friday and no later than that on the weekend days in Somerville, Massachusetts.

The Goal
DrupalCamp24x7.org is an community effort to help Drupal beginners to learn Drupal online. It also tries to help drupalites from all over the world to share and communicate among themselves in a way Drupal.org suggests for DrupalCamp but in an online mode. It also tries to help people interested in Drupal to share their ideas with others who are unable to taste the fun of DrupalCamp in any way. We welcome all who love Drupal and want to be part of this great community.

The project I am working on is called Into Outside http://www.IntoOutside.org, where I am building a platform to connect kids to the outdoors. The seed project is with UC Berkeley, Yosemite Youth Leadership and the other community stakeholders. The program involves education in wilderness, leadership and job training etc where graduate students take underserved youth from the Central Valley (6.5 million population) into Yosemite. It is GREAT!
