Hi there,

We run a not for profit (indeed, no money at all!) website in the UK, and require some help in taking the site forward, as we're getting a high profile in our sector.

All we can offer is a warm feeling at Christmas! If you like cycling, like drupal, and helping others...

Hi

Sorry for the extreme delay in getting back to you; family life and running the website takes up so much time. I apologise.

We are all about helping others for free and never want to be commercial. Hence our problem with having to run and fix things for free without funding. We never ever take money for the brands we review, or the emagazine that we now also produce. We believe in allowing people to write about what they want, without the burden of commercialisation.

Our cycling website is a totally volunteer run project, that we want to keep non-commercial and away from the marketeers. It's turned into a network of cycling writers around the globe, but we lack a technical editor to help with the drupal website side of the project.

We have no funding and do it all for the love of cycling. We do however have a huge global profile, that we want to expand, if you're happy to help with the technical bits.
As it stands, we need somebody who knows how to do the security updates on the site, and then to help design and build a new more responsive website to take us to the next level.
We can only offer a warm feeling of altruistic pride and the odd cycling freebie from brands that we review and test

Robert

In effect, we need someone

Posted by @pedalnorth on May 25, 2015 at 4:07pm

In effect, we need someone who understands the code side of things and who can help us to refresh and improve some areas of the site.

Longer term, we'd love to design a new site which us responsive. The writing and editing leaves no time to learn more about the technical side. We get around 90000+ views a month, so just need to improve the layout of a few key pages for now.
