Hi Friends,

The Ottawa Chapter of Autism Ontario is planning a Tug-of-War fundraising event in September called "The Big Pull". The full day event will see over 300 participants enjoy a fun day at Mooney's Bay in support of our local initiatives, including the creation of a new Autism Resource Centre in Ottawa.

As part of the planning process, we've decided to build an event specific website, https://BigPull.ca

We are going to build the site in Drupal 8 and could use a little help from a few volunteers!

We The People Of The World.org is trying to build its website using Drupal, but needs help--a lot of help.

Does anyone know of any local hi-tech volunteer opportunities for an IT generlist?

I'm currently working on my own website but looking to volunteer or collaborate on a larger project.

Fairly new to Drupal, but I have multiple years of embedded C++ and java experience, with some GUI and database work before that.

I'm located in Seattle if that makes a difference to anyone.

Florida Greenways Project

Introduction

The Florida Greenways Project is a volunteer effort to construct a dynamic, interactive Drupal Community Website for the Florida segment of the East Coast Greenway.

Our research group, the UC Berkeley Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, began building up a Drupal site (http://seti.berkeley.edu) a few years ago to support both scientists in our group and outreach to the general public. We could use some help cleaning up the UI, organizing content and upgrading from Drupal 6 to 7. Ideally you would be located in the SF Bay area and could meet with our group in person, and would be willing to take on this pet project for an extended period of time (not a lot of hours, just be willing to work with us over time).

The Veterans Artist Program (VAP) - http://veteranartistprogram.org/ - is looking for volunteer Drupal developers to help build out their website and create a system that allows them to track data about the artists they are involved with.

Hey everyone, apologies if anyone takes offence to me posting this, but I didn't think anyone would really mind...

The not-for-profit I help run is having a code sprint day to try and spruce up the website and we're looking for volunteers to lend a hand. Food and drink will be provided and we're still confirming a venue, but it will be an inner city Melbourne venue.
