Hi,
I just wanted to mention that I've written a module to integrate Adobe Edge (http://edge.adobe.com) animations/compositions into Drupal.

You can import an Edge "project" (e.g. a composition) by uploading a zipped version. The module will adjust all paths and share resources between multiple compositions. For now blocks are being used to expose the compositions, panels support will follow. More features are planned.

Any feedback is appreciated.

1.SAE: sina app engine , belong to sina.com (China), it's a service like google app engine ,but provide PHP hosting and mysql hosting and more! well , i think it's better than GAE, because i only know php but not python/java. It declare itself cloud service. And better than GAE, it use SVN.
2.Since it offer php and mysql hosting , drupal can be hosted. But a little hack to install.php , nothing more hack

We're considering building an AIR app that (at least) uses Drupal as the back-end data source. We were wondering whether we'd also be able to display a Drupal View from within the AIR app (using Services) or not? Same question applies for any custom modules we may build in Drupal.

The reason we are asking, is because we have an existing D6 site with Views and custom reporting modules, and we'd like to leverage those in an AIR app.

ZendAMF, a new server component to the Services module opening the Drupal doors to the Flash world, is moving into its new sandbox.

Is anyone using the new Drupal editing features in Dreamweaver CS5? I watched a video that was impressive, but it was based on editing a Wordpress site in Dreamweaver CS5. I am wondering if there is any information out there about using it on a Drupal site; videos, tutorials, podcasts, articles.

I have a bunch of georeferenced data (published as web services) that I would like to display in a Flex web mapping application which is embedded onto a Drupal page.

If I create a custom content type (geospatial data) which captures some metadata about each georeferenced dataset, including the map service url can I then pass the URL (CCK field) into an embedded Flex web mapping application?

I've got a Flex aggregator app that currently only works when running on localhost on my development server. If I try to run it on other networks it doesn't work. I've placed a crossdomain.xml file in my server root, but that doesn't help. The only other weird issue is that if I take my computer to another network it will run on my computer on different networks. Any ideas?

We are working on creating an image gallery with Flash and Flex/ActionScript which will be open source and placed on Drupal.org in the modules section, and are currently in the code review phase. We wanted a bit of feedback from the community before posting this on the Drupal site, so we are having a 30 minute e-seminar to present the module and gather some ideas. Ok it's time to come out of shell: we are on the verge of securing "Beijing IT Developer Conference Week".

It will provide free-of-cost to following:
1. A 2,000-3,000 square meter, conference venue, with main pavilion and partitioned classrooms
2. Linguistic support, with instantaneous translations and headsets
3. Sound/video equipment, personnel and recording

I've never posted in this group, but was trying to gauge interest in a Flex Chat application for Drupal that I've been working on. I'm a hobbyist so all my work on this project has been in my free time from my normal job so it's been slow going. I basically have an pre-alpha build of the module right now. It includes a flex chat services module I created to interface between flex and Drupal.

Adobe's annual MAX conference comes to Los Angeles, CA from October 4-7th.

I have presented at MAX before, and attended twice. This conference is huge. Last year 5,000 attendees ran around chatting Flash, Flex, AIR, Photoshop, After Effects, everything Adobe. One of the new things Adobe has done at MAX is run un-conferences inside the main conference building. Last year there were four un-conferences going on all week inside MAX, adding to the already hundreds of sessions. This year I am involved with the Web CMS theme of the conference, promoting Drupal & PHP. Some of you know my Drupal Dreamweaver extensions and Theme Starter desktop software, so I am glad to be exclusively covering Drupal in my talks this year. One session covers the different approaches in Web CMS software like Wordpress & Drupal. For that session I will be sharing the stage for that session with a Wordpress counterpart. I hope that session turns into a feature flinging match as it'll help me get caught up with Wordpress limitations.

I'd like to promote the MAX conference to the Drupal community, and at the same time ask who is already planning to attend. We can meet up and rep Drupal together.

Can anyone recommend me a good chat solution for Drupal 6. I am trying to evaluate different solutions like DimDim, 123FlashChat Server, avchat(avchat.com)..

Has anyone used any of these solutions.. Will U recommend any?

I will be using this for a Learning Management solution. I would like to host online presentations, do whiteboarding, have the ability to control the time the chat sessions are on; All chat sessions will need to be stored and indexed for later retrieval. I will be using the apache solr module. That part seems to work fine.
