Juliet Olive Campbell[2] is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Broxtowe since the 2024 general election.[3] She was previously the Cabinet Member for Safer Lewisham, Refugees and Equalities on Lewisham Council.[1] [4]

Campbell was born in Bilborough to Jamaican parents.[5]

Political career

According to LabourList, "Campbell [was] a councillor on Lewisham council in London, representing Blackheath ward and [served] as cabinet member for communities, refugees and wellbeing."[6] She resigned as councillor on the day the election was called.[7]

Campbell opposed Kim Leadbeater's bill introducing assisted suicide into law and served on the committee examining the legislation.[8]
