Information and support from multicultural social workers
Multicultural social workers provide multilingual advice to foreign residents about life-related issues such as labor issues, medical care, welfare, education, marriage and divorce, and offer a variety of information.
We also provide ongoing support for complex issues, interpret for simple daily life matters*, and respond to inquiries from related organizations.
Furthermore, we also provide information on international exchange activities and overseas situations.
*Interpretation is limited to non-profit purposes. The person seeking advice can either visit the office or be interpreted over the phone, but the call charges will be borne by the person seeking advice.
[Please be careful]
In an area outside of Aichi Prefecture, there was an incident where a foreign resident was deceived via social media by someone posing as a counselor, who swindled money and goods from them.
The counselors at the Aichi International Exchange Association will never ask you for money or gifts.
