Impact of Urbanization in Indonesia: Analysis of Firm Productivity and Labor Migration(2017_2_40_002)
Outline
Using our original Urban Area dataset for Indonesia from 2000 to 2010, we will perform a quantitative analysis of 1) the effects of agglomeration on firm-level productivity, and 2) the impacts of migration to urban areas on the level of residents’ welfare, particularly from the perspective of poverty reduction.
