ARRIDE is the institutional repository of the IDE that preserves and disseminates the Institute’s research outputs on developing countries and regions worldwide. Its contents can be searched and accessed through global metadata aggregation services such as RePEc, Google Scholar, and OAIster.

The Asian Affairs Annual Report, published in Japanese by the IDE, is a well-established annual publication that provides country-by-country analyses of developments across Asia. Based on careful analyses of local newspapers, periodicals, and field research, it comprehensively covers major topics, including regional overviews, country reports, chronologies, reference materials, and statistical data. The Asian Affairs Annual Report Chronology Search System is a database that enables users to search the chronologies published in each annual edition of the report.

近現代アジアのなかの日本 (Japan in Modern and Contemporary Asia) (in Japanese) is a digital archive that provides access to digitized materials published locally by Japanese organizations operating in Asian countries before and during World War II, as well as prewar naval documents, materials of the Showa Research Association, and records relating to the Southern Regions Military Administration. Users can access approximately 4,194 rare historical documents and materials held by the IDE Library, including images of documents related to the South Manchuria Railway Company.

Passing on "the Japanese Experience" provides access to digitized publications resulting from the project "Technology Transfer, Transformation, and Development: The Japanese Experience," which was commissioned by the United Nations University under its Human and Social Development Programme. These publications have been digitized and made available on the Internet.

A database of bibliographic information on approximately 55,000 maps of developing countries held by the IDE Library, searchable by region and country.

This database provides access to digital images of maps of Lebanon held by the IDE Library. The images are provided in an IIIF-compliant format.

開発途上国のフォトアーカイブス (Photo Archives of Developing Countries) (in Japanese) is a digital archive of slide photographs taken by IDE staff during research trips to developing countries for research documentation and related purposes.
