特別収容プロトコル: 民間人による発見を防ぐため、SCP-6581は難破した軍用艦船であるとした上でダイビングによる立ち入りを制限しています。出入口に設置されたエアロックにより、SCP-6581下層への浸水は阻止されています。海洋生物の侵入、もしくはSCP-6581-1による自発的な活動が発生した際は、追って通達があるまで封鎖するべきです。開放されていないチャンバーへの探索は、現在如何なる場合でも禁止されています。

説明: SCP-6581は北緯6.94度、東経109.17度の海底に存在する、面積約0.06平方キロメートルの老朽化した石造建造物群です。農耕が発達していた文明のものと思われる建築物の特徴が確認できますが、その位置と炭素年代測定法からは、14,000年以上前の氷河期に建造されたことが示されており、これは既存の農業が出現する数千年前にあたります。

SCP-6581の大部分は海水に曝されており、数千年間の水没に相当する浸食が見られます。しかし、最大の建造物の下層部には発見時水密扉が取り付けられており、浸水が抑制されていました。当該地点にエアロックを設置することで、浸水を抑制したまま密閉された内部を開放、海水から保護されていた遺物並びにエリアを調査することに成功しました。SCP-6581の外観から、当該オブジェクトが要塞として建造、運用されたことが推測されています。数種類の青銅製の武器や、壁を補強し他の奇跡術の使用を妨げる為のものと思われる主要構造部全体に張り巡らされた奇跡論的結界、そして下層内にて確認されたSCP-6581-1の存在がそれを裏付けています。

SCP-6581-1は、鉄と人骨で構成された143体のオートマトンの総称です。各人形の身長は約160cmで、青銅製の槍と小型の木製盾を装備しています。SCP-6581-1は自律行動が可能ですが、反応するのは外部からの刺激に対してのみであり、自身の行動が妨げられなければ元の位置に戻ります。全143体中121体は武器庫に隣接するホールで隊列を組んでいます。残り22体の内12体が内部の様々な出入口に2体ずつ、10体が隠された副室に配置されています(補遺6581.2を参照)。

補遺6581.1
SCP-6581下層部には5点の壁画が良質な状態で保存されており、事実の記録であるのか芸術的解釈であるのかは不明ですが、相互に関連のある一連の出来事が描かれているように見受けられます。以下は当該の壁画を年代順(推定)に並べたリストです。

金のローブを纏い王冠と紫の炎を頭上に浮かべた黒髪の男が、跪いている群衆の上に立っている。一筋の太陽光が男を照らしている。彼の背後には、より簡素な王冠を被った4人の青いローブの人物が立っている。

青いローブの4人が2人1組で争い合っている。壁画中央にて垂直に描かれた光の筋の中に、王冠と王笏が浮かんでいる。

向かって左側には、青いローブの人物が軍隊を率いている。軍隊は不鮮明な骸骨のような集団であり、各々が槍を携え頭上には小さな緑色の炎が浮かんでいる。青いローブの女が男に対峙している。金のローブの男が被っていた王冠を女は被り、陽光の筋の中に立っており、こちらは人間の軍隊を率いている。他2人の青いローブの人々は確認出来ない。

5点目の壁画は他4点より大きく、それらから独立してSCP-6581中心付近の壁に描かれています。

向かって左側に、青いローブの男が地面に倒れ伏している。彼の背中にはナイフが突き刺さっている。中央では、汚れた茶色のローブを纏った人物が手を後ろに回して、王冠を被った青いローブの女の足元に跪いている。王冠を被った女は自身の頭上に剣を掲げている。

補遺6581.2
5点目の壁画について詳細に調査した結果、壁の中央にて隠し扉が発見されました。扉は副室へと繋がっており、内部ではもう一つの扉の前に隊列を組んでいる10体のSCP-6581-1実体が確認されました。もう一つの扉は奇跡論的儀式により封印されていると見られています。SCP-6581-1実体群は、自身を掻い潜ろうとしたり、扉を開けようとしたりするあらゆる試みに対して激しい敵対的な反応を示します。特筆すべき事項として、室内のまぐさ石には未知のタイ諸語系言語により碑文が刻まれています。言語が未知のものであるにも拘らず、これを視認した人物は皆一様に、碑文を「死者は何者にも侵されない」と読んでいます。
