特別収容プロトコル: 全世界に非異常性ミームの影響が飽和しているため、民間社会におけるSCP-5524症例はヴェールへの脅威とはなりません。

事前のミーム接種はSCP-5524症例の重症度を軽減できると確認済みですが、その影響の発現を完全に阻止することはできません。財団内のSCP-5524感染者は、ブレインワーム・プロトコルを介して事後治療を受けることができます。

故意にSCP-5524を同僚に伝達した職員は懲戒処分の対象となります。

GoI-5054 ("毒筆家"ギフトシュライバー) の構成員の疑いがある抑留者に対しては、サイト-43のミーム及び対抗ミームセクションのみがインタビューを実施します。

説明: SCP-5524は人間の姓名に似た2つの要素から成る伝染性のミーム効果です。上位10パーセンタイルの認知抵抗値を有さない人物は、SCP-5524に遭遇してもそれを認識災害と見做すことができず、次のような — しかし、これらのみに限定されない — 強迫症状を示し始めます。

SCP-5524を声に出して繰り返す。
SCP-5524を他者と共有する。
SCP-5524に関連する侵入思考。
漸進的にSCP-5524以外のあらゆる事柄に集中できなくなる。

この現象の明確な副次影響としては、生産性の深刻な低下、精神的疲労の深刻な増大、苛立ち、士気の低下などが挙げられます。

現時点では、SCP-5524の異常な効果が観測基準ベースライン現実世界の一要素か、意図的に作られたものかを断定する方法はありません。

補遺5524-1、現象学的概要: SCP財団がSCP-5524に初めて遭遇したのは2021年2月15日、アメリカ合衆国ニュージャージー州アトランティックシティで行われた機動部隊による襲撃作戦の事後処理中でした。オカルト関連の活動に携わっていたと思しき3名の人物がこの襲撃で捕縛され、その後サイト-43で尋問を受けました。2名は身元を明かそうとしませんでしたが、3人目はより積極的に情報を開示しました。

ウェトル博士: 何だい、自分の名前がブルーリィ・レゲヴォイだから気が咎めてるのか? 気持ちは分かるよ。

このインタビューからそれ以上の情報は得られず、ウェトル博士は全セクション週次報告会で調査結果の発表を試みました。彼はPoI-5524-1やその所属組織について何ら有益な情報を提供できなかったものの、同僚たちとの間で"ブルーリィ・レゲヴォイ"という人名を巡る活発な議論を交わしました。翌日を通して、サイトの各所の監視カメラ映像に以下のような場面が捉えられました。

[リリハンメル博士は通話を切り、オフィスを退室する。彼女はM&Cをサイトの他区画から隔てる認知除染トンネルに入り、ドア横のパネルに幾つかのコマンドを入力する。続く10分間で、リリハンメル博士は壁、床、天井で発光する一連のシンボルを正確な順序で観察し、数種類の音声ファイルを重ね聴きし、深呼吸エクササイズを行い、点滅光を浴びる。その後、彼女はオフィスに戻り、端末からサイト全域警報を発令する。]

補遺5524-2、事後処理: 1時間以内に、リリハンメル博士は対SCP-5524用ミーム接種の開発に成功し、遡及的にブレインワーム・プロトコルと指定し、関連資料を全サイト職員に配布しました。PoI-5524-1とその仲間2名は恒久的な拘留のためにサイト-06-3へ再送されました — 今後、彼らの発言はクラスA認識災害と見做されます。

ブランク博士は財団と協働しているミーム学者、PoI-382ことティロ・ツウィストにこの件を相談しました。PoI-382は、襲撃作戦で捕縛された3名が、SCP財団によるコンセンサス正常性の安定化に反対しているミーム学者集団、ギフトシュライバーの構成員であることを確証しました。彼らがサイト-43を攻撃した動機の調査は進行中です。

補遺 5524-3、後続活動: 2021年2月19日に新たなギフトシュライバーのエージェントが拘留された際、リリハンメル博士は第2のSCP-5524実例らしき名称に曝されました。それ以前に"ブルーリィ・レゲヴォイ"に曝露していたためか、新たな実例のミーム構成に内在する欠陥のためか、実際には認識災害ではない名前だったのかは不明ですが、いずれにせよ、"メッツァ・サツェップシム(Mezza Succepsim)"がサイト-43に同規模の混乱を招くことはありませんでした。
