"Toad's Message"[1] [2] is a musical jingle composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario 64 , where it plays when the player talks to a Toad.

History[edit ]

Super Mario 64 / Super Mario 64 DS[edit ]

Super Mario 64 marks the first appearance of "Toad's Message", and it returns for the same purpose in the Nintendo DS remake, Super Mario 64 DS , and the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario 3D All-Stars . It is also included in the official Super Mario 64 Original Soundtrack album.

Luigi's Mansion[edit ]

In Luigi's Mansion and the Nintendo 3DS remake of the same name, an arrangement of "Toad's Message" plays when the player first talks to Toad. This arrangement includes a faithful interpretation of the jingle as well as an extended melody resembling the jingle. It is titled "There, There, Toad" in the Nintendo Music app.

Hello, Mario! / Hello, Yoshi![edit ]

In Hello, Mario! and Hello, Yoshi! , a slower-paced arrangement of "Toad's Message" plays when the player uses the screenshot feature, which depicts Toad with a bipod camera.
