Cool Sounds is the fifth Funky's Flights mission in the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2 . It can be played in Gloomy Gulch. In this mission, Diddy Kong must retrieve Funky Kong's boombox.
Layout[edit ]
In order to find Funky's boombox, Diddy must go down into the water. To unfreeze it and lower the water level, Diddy must shoot three arrow buttons on the wall in a certain order. If the wrong arrow is hit, Diddy has to repeat the sequence. After the fourth set of arrows, Diddy will come across a single arrow, which he must shoot to drain the water completely. He can then access the lowest part of the level, which contains a Kloak and the boombox. Diddy needs to use the Gyrocopter's winch to grab the boombox, then go back to the start of the level. After Diddy gives the boombox to Funky, he can then land at the helipad to complete the mission.

- "Hey, man, I'm glad you're back. I need your help. I have dropped my ghetto blaster in the icy water below. Go and get it for me. Shoot the buttons hanging on the wall to lower the water. You only have three minutes of juice, so you better get going, dude!"

- "Well done! I can now listen to the DK rap all night long. Here is your reward."
Enemies[edit ]
- If Funky is shot using the Gyrocopter, he will shout "Ouch!" or "Not cool, dude!" This also happens in Submerged Stint.
