How to Find Shiny Beasts

While there isn't a definitive way to make a shiny Beast appear in Hogwarts Legacy, we'll show you an easy method to finding these elusive shiny creatures. If you've ever played Pokemon, rest assured that it is a lot easier finding these shiny magical creatures since these creatures are fixed to a certain spot. Here's what you need to know.

The Easiest Way of Finding and Catching Shiny Beasts

While there is no official way of finding a shiny beast, there's a simple way to speed up the process to make finding one easier. This will involve traveling to a specific Den of Beasts that you want and resetting the game until you happen to spot one. Here's a step-by-step guide on what you need to do.

1. Head to a Den of your choice of the Beast that you want to collect.

2. Walk into the Den and hover over each Beast. Look for a star sign next to its name (it looks like a "+") to confirm if the Beast is a shiny or not. (To make things easier, use Disillusionment so the Beasts don't run away from you.)

3. If there are no shinies, capture all the creatures in the Den and leave. Go into your map and change the time to force the Den to respawn. (You can also try Fast Traveling to a Floo Flame and then flying back to the Den to force a respawn.)

4. Create a manual save and load up the save to reset the Den until you find a shiny.

Are Shiny Beasts Different?

The only difference between a normal Beast and a shiny is their difference in color. Shiny Beasts are essentially just rarer versions of standard Beasts.
