Clagmar Coast - Merlin Trials
Merlin Trials unlock new gear slots in your inventory, allowing you to carry more items. This page has every location and solution for Merlin Trials in Clagmar Coast Region.

Clagmar Coast - Merlin Trial 1
The first Trial can be found along the southern coast of the region, near the South Clagmar Coast floo point. Activate the trial, then fly to three small islands near the long walking pier and cast Reparo on the three broken statues to complete the trial.
Clagmar Coast - Merlin Trial 2
This second trial can be found along the southern coast, east of the South Clagmar Coast floo point. Activate the trial, then cast Confringo on the four statues within eyesight of the trial activation point, then climb up into the tunnel on the left and you'll see the final statue on the other side. Blast it to complete the trial.
Clagmar Coast - Merlin Trial 3
The third trial can be found southeast of Clagmar Castle, on the easternmost part of the coast. Activate the trial, jump over the bails of hay, then start blastin' with your standard attack. Destroy each of the fragile balls sitting on pillars around the area to complete the trial easily.
Clagmar Coast - Merlin Trial 4
The fourth Merlin Trial on Clagmar Coast can be found on the northeastern corner of the map, nestled up against a cliff. Activate the trial, then go down the hill to the north to find a Flipendo cube. Rotate it on one side until you see the symbol that matches your side of the pillar, then move to the left and flip it until the rotation matches to complete that pillar.
Next, go up the hill from the starting point to find two others in the midst of a ruined house. Flip them until the cube matches the pillar it rests on to complete the trial.
Clagmar Coast - Merlin Trial 5
The fifth trial can be found in the northern section of the region, northwest of the Clagmar Castle floo point. Activate the trial next to a tree on a hill to cause three swarms of blue-green butterflies to appear. Jump off the hill towards the southeast and dispatch the enemies, then cast Lumos to grab the butterflies flying near the crate.
Make your way around the one-tree-hill to the reach a fork in the road and the second swarm. Keep Lumos up to grab it, then head south to find a lift mechanism. Make sure you have Lumos and Depulso bound, then cast Depulso on the fans to cause the lift to lower, then immediately cast Lumos again to grab the swarms, and climb aboard the lift.
Let it bring you up to the trial area and approach each of the three hollow stones and the butterflies will fly inside, completing the trial.
Clagmar Coast - Astronomy Tables
To interact with Astronomy Tables, you'll need to have completed your first Astronomy Class and learned from Amit about the tables, themselves. They also can only be used at night, so go into your map and click the right analog stick to change the time if you find one during the day. Activate them, then rotate and zoom in or out to align the dots with the constellations and reveal their form.
Clagmar Coast - Astronomy Table
The Clagmar Coast Astronomy Table can be found on a mountaintop overlooking the southern coast, south of the Clagmar Castle floo point. Wait until night, then rotate and align the stars to reveal the Lupus constellation.
Clagmar Coast - Landing Platforms
Landing platforms are simple, raised platforms scattered around the world. Simply fly up to them and land on top to complete them.

Clagmar Coast - Infamous Foes
Infamous Foes are stronger enemies that are fought in unique areas, have history behind them, or have unique skills or helpers. Defeat them to obtain special rewards and complete challenges.
Clagmar Coast - Infamous Foe: Sylvanus Selwyn
- Reward: Legendary Back Item
Sylvanus Selwyn, the Clagmar Coast Infamous Foe, can be found in Clagmar Castle, amidst other enemies. Approach the central section to find and dispatch him.
Clagmar Coast - Treasure Vaults
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 1
- Spells Required: Confringo
Find the Treasure Vault north of a Medium Bandit Camp on the beach. Cast Confringo to break the rock barrier blocking the entry. Follow the path to your treasure!
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 2
- Spells Required: None
This Treasure Vault is located north of a Medium Bandit Camp. You can avoid combat by flying around the camp. Enter the hole in the rock to loot your treasure.
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 3
- Spells Required: Accio, Wingardium Leviosa, and Glacius
West of the Medium Bandit Camp, you’ll find this Treasure Vault near the Troll Lair. Defeat the two Forest Trolls guarding the area. Find the cube just north of the entrance. Cast Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to move the cube onto the plate in front of the entrance, then cast Glacius to access the Treasure Vault.
Once inside, you’ll find rows of handles along a wall. Use Revelio to highlight the handles you want to focus on, and cast Accio to pull on each of them to solve the puzzle. A door in the south part of the room will open, revealing your treasure!
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 4
- Spells Required: Accio
Located in a hole on the east side of the rocky bridge. Enter and follow the path to a closed door. Cast Accio to pull the handle and open the door. Your treasure inside awaits!
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 5
Enter the Treasure Vault and follow the path down. You’ll crouch under a low entryway into a room with floating braziers that are rotating around a fire.
To solve this puzzle, cast any fire-based spell, such as Incendio or Confringo, to light any unlit braziers. Once all braziers are lit, a treasure chest will fall from the ceiling. Loot your treasure!
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 6
From the Treasure Vault location, take the path north to a pond. Cast Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to control the cube.
Take the cube with you back to the Treasure Vault location and place it on the platform right in front of the entrance. Cast Levioso on the cube to open the door.
Follow the path down to your next puzzle – an array of handles on the wall. Use Revelio to identify the handles you want to pull, then cast Accio on each of those handles to open the door hiding your treasure.
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 7
- Spells Required: Lumos
Just east of a Small Bandit Camp is the location of this Treasure Vault. You will need to defeat the enemies first. Once clear, enter the vault and head down the path until you find it blocked by Devil’s Snare. Cast Lumos to make the vines recoil and open up the walkway for you to pass. Now you can loot your treasure!
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 8
- Spells Required: None
Up a hill leading to Clagmar Castle, you’ll find a small crevice to enter. Follow the path to find a tiny dust devil of leaves and petals. Run into the tiny cyclone and it will move to a new location in the room. After six times, a treasure chest will reveal for you to loot.
Clagmar Coast Treasure Vault 9
You’ll find this Treasure Vault east of the Bandit Camp Castle. From the entrance, head west to find the cube near a tent up the path. Cast Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to move the cube to the plate in front of the Treasure Vault entrance. Then, cast Levioso to levitate the cube on the plate and open the Treasure Vault.
When you follow the path, you’ll find a stone archway in the middle of the room. Run through it and turn back around to find your treasure!
- Spells Required: Incendio or Confringo (for the Inferi combat) and Alohomora II
On the eastern part of Clagmar Coast, head to the Treasure Vault location. You’ll need to defeat Inferi in the area with your fire-based spells before you can safely access the vault. Once clear, approach the locked gate and use Alohomora II to enter. Follow the path and find your loot in the north corner of the room.
Clagmar Coast - Collection Chests
There are 5 Chests in the Clagmar Coast region, which encompasses the area just south of Cragcroftshire and east of Manor Cape, and they can often be found in hamlets, dungeons, or bandit camps.
Clagmar Coast - Medium Bandit Camp Collection Chest
- Contains: Attribute Trait
Find this Collection Chest in a Medium Bandit Camp on a hill in the northern part of Clagmar Coast. Defeat all the enemies in the area, then loot the chest in the large tent on the eastern part of the camp.
Clagmar Coast - Upper Small Bandit Camp Collection Chest
- Contains: Attribute Trait
This Collection Chest is located in a Small Bandit Camp in the upper part of Clagmar Coast. Defeat all enemies in the area, then loot the chest from the tent in the camp.
Clagmar Coast - Lower Small Bandit Camp Collection Chest
- Contains: Attribute Trait
Find this Collection Chest in a Small Bandit Camp on the beach. This is also the location for a Treasure Vault. Defeat any enemies you encounter in the area, then head toward the opening in the rock where the Treasure Vault entrance is marked on the map. Before you get to the entrance, look to the northern edge to find the Collection Chest next to some cages.
Clagmar Coast - Clagmar Castle Collection Chests
- Contains: Attribute Trait
From the Clagmar Castle Floo Flame, head to the southern part of the Bandit Camp. Defeat all enemies, including the boss, Silvanus Selwyn. Once all the enemies are defeated, find the first Collection Chest in a tent on the southern edge of the camp.
- Contains: Attribute Trait
From the same location as Clagmar Castle Collection Chest 1, turn around and face north to find a smaller tent nearby. Find the second Collection Chest in this tent to claim your reward.
