Mythic Restoration Walkthrough
"Mythic Restoration" is a Friendship Quest for Hades that becomes available as soon as you unlock him as a Villager in the Storybook Vale expansion. You do not need to level up Hades' Friendship to unlock this Quest. In "Mythic Restoration," Hades decides that he wants to clean up Mythopia - but, of course, in true Hades fashion, he makes you do most of the work!

Acquire A Pickaxe Upgrade
Talk to Hades, who tells you that Mythopia is a mess, and he wants to fix it...er, he wants YOU to fix it. He asks that if you bring him the necessary components, he will upgrade your Royal Pickaxe so you can clean up the marble rubble that clutters the area.
Collect the following materials:
- Crimson Eternal Poppies x 3 - picked anywhere in Mythopia.
- Gravel x 10 - found by digging anywhere in Mythopia.
- Posidonia x 5 - found by fishing in open water anywhere in Mythopia.
Clean Up Mythopia
Give the items to Hades, who upgrades your PIckaxe as promised. Now, it's time to get down to business and give Mythopia a good cleaning! Perform the following tasks:
- Remove Marble Rubble x 10
- Catch any Demon Snippets x 5
Return to Hades, who is decently pleased with your work...but, of course, he's not satisfied.
Craft Hades Statues
Hades' new plan is to add some flair to Mythopia - God of the Underworld-styled flair, of course! He asks you to craft four Marble Hades Statues. Collect the following materials:
- Gold Nugget x 4 - mined from Rock Spots in the Frosted Heights, Sunlit Plateau, Vitalys Mines, and Forgotten Lands.
- Marble x 4 - mined from Rock Spots anywhere in Mythopia, dropped when removing Marble Rubble.
- Magma x 4 - mined from Rock Spots anywhere in Mythopia.
Once you have gathered everything, craft the Marble Hades Statues at any Crafting Station, such as the one outside your house in the Bind. Then, place the statues anywhere in Mythopia.
Eavesdrop On Conversations About Hades
Talk to Hades, who likes the statues but worries that they did not actually improve his reputation at all. He asks - well, more like tells - you to go to the Library of Lore and eavesdrop on conversations about him.
First, blend in with the environment by wearing an outfit that includes clothing with the following tags:
- Brown
- Green
- Rustic

Then, head to the Library of Lore and eavesdrop on the following conversations. (You can do this by getting close enough to see them talking but not interacting with the Villagers involved so they do not become aware of your presence.)
- Mickey and Remy
- Merida and Scrooge
They are not impressed by Hades, and consider Zeus and his lightning to be more impressive. Return to Hades, who is of course furious, as Zeus is his eternal rival.
Power Up The Lightning Generator
Hades remembers that the Lorekeeper had a Lightning Generator somewhere in the Library of Lore. He asks you to power the machine and turn it on. You will need to collect three Lightning Spice(foraged anywhere in Mythopia) to power the machine.
The Generator is located near the globe in the east wing of the Library of Lore. Insert the Lightning Spice, then power up the machine by interacting with it.
Talk to Hades, who is a little too enthusiastic about the Lightning Generator. He puts in too much spice, and accidentally sets himself on fire! Seems like this attempt to earn the Villagers' admiration and respect has failed - but, of course, he has more ideas that he will try out in his future Friendship Quests.
