How To Upgrade Storage Chests

As of the "Wonderland Whimsy" update in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can now upgrade the capacity of previously crafted storage chests. Now, instead of having to craft an entirely new chest, you can turn a Small-sized chest into a Medium one, and a Medium into a Large.

However, doing so costs a significant amount of Dreamlight, so make sure to complete lots of Dreamlight Duties to earn what you need!

How To Upgrade Storage Chests

To upgrade a Small or Medium storage chest, first you must place it in the world using the Furniture menu. Then, open the chest. Below the list of items currently stored in the chest will be an option labeled "Expand."

• Upgrading a Small chest (16 slots) to a Medium chest (32 slots) costs 1500 Dreamlight.
• Upgrading a Medium chest to a Large chest (48 slots) costs 8500 Dreamlight.

Once a storage chest has been upgraded to Large size, it cannot be upgraded any further.
