Bio
My wife, Phyllis Elaine, passed away in March, 2012. Since that time, I have continued my various activities with Find A Grave. I still enjoy doing volunteer photos for folks requesting them and do this mostly in the "Texoma" area where I live.
I created a Find A Grave memorial for my late wife and if there are folks who would care to view it, go to my list of virtual cemeteries at the right side of the page and click on the one bearing her name. Her biography tells the story of the life that we shared and of the wonderful wife and mother that she was to those of us who will always love her and cherish her memory.

Update: November 2015
During the past year or so, it has become increasingly difficult for me to fulfill photo requests, which often require a great deal of walking while searching for specific grave markers.
My age and physical limitations have caused me to feel some concern regarding the many Find A Grave memorials under my management. In order to assure that these memorials and any future memorials that I may create continue to be properly managed after my own incapacitation or death, I am arranging for them to be transferred to new management by a very capable Find A Grave member and genealogist.
Beginning October 6, 2015, I began transferring memorials to my good friend Richard K. Thompson of Fairfield, Iowa, member #46900770. Richard is a long time genealogist and has assisted me with my own genealogy efforts for several years. He has readily agreed to accept edits, photos, etc. for any of the memorials transferred into his care.
I intend to continue being active with Find A Grave for as long as I can. The years that I have engaged in these activities have been very enjoyable and rewarding. Although we almost never meet in person, I am thankful for "meeting" thousands of friends and relatives while engaged in these Find A Grave activities. My profile page will remain here just as it always has and I invite anyone interested to visit any of my Virtual Cemeteries. They will continue to be active. All memorials formerly under my care that have been transferred to Richard Thompson can still be seen in my "Transferred to Others" virtual cemetery.
