PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! DO NOT post death certificates or obituaries in the photo section of the memorials I have created. That is NOT the place for them. My email is posted on my profile, send any documents to me and I will add to bio area! THANK YOU!
With that being said, and most important, please use any and all info I have posted on the memorials I have created as you wish. I don't have any hang ups about getting credit or saying everything I post is mine, mine mine! I just can't figure out why "contributors" post photos on this site if they won't let them be used for family trees. This site is supposed to be for sharing and caring. Nothing more, nothing less. I love creating memorials of our loved ones for everyone to "visit" and pay respects. Truthfully, I get a kick out of knowing that some of the work I do on this site, and on Ancestry, may help someone find their family connections.
As for myself, I was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Lived in No VA until 2001, when my husband and I moved to SW Florida. After 10 years of the "Sunshine State" decided it was time to hit the road and travel. Drove cross country, settled in Las Vegas, Nevada and explored the western part of this great country. After the death of my husband, drove cross county again and have settled back into East coast living.
After finding out that my mother's grandfather was not her true paternal grandfather, I got very curious and started digging for answers. After that, I got more involved in ancestry research, finding the final resting place for my family, and just as important, linking family together.
If you have any information to correct or add to one of my memorials, please send through the edit tab of that memorial. I will be very happy to correct any and all mistakes, as I'm sure I'm not perfect, and there probably are some out there. I do try to be thorough before posting, but sometimes I miss information that may be important.
