There are 100 million+ active Mac users who can't run your Windows title. PortJump changes that, without a source code rewrite, a second dev team, or a two-year roadmap.
PortJump is CodeWeavers' managed porting service, built on CrossOver, the compatibility technology we invented and have been developing for over 25 years. Every engagement is custom.
If your Windows title isn't on Mac yet, that's a market gap we can close. Start by testing it yourself. We'll give you a free copy of CrossOver so you can see exactly how your app runs on Mac before we ever get on a call. Request your free copy here.
Wargaming, KingsIsle, Square Enix, LogMeIn and Audiokinetic have all used PortJump to reach new markets. AccountEdge used it to stay in the Mac market entirely, without a costly rewrite.

You don't need one. PortJump is built on 25+ years of Wine and CrossOver expertise. Your Windows app runs on Mac, and most projects require zero changes to your source code.
Your application will launch, behave, and integrate like a native macOS application. Users open it from the Dock, find it in Spotlight and interact with it the way they do every other app on their Mac. No Windows environment to manage or foreign UI to explain.
You won't have to. The Mac version stays in sync with your Windows releases through our compatibility layer. One codebase, two platforms.
Mac users are actively looking for the software and games they use on Windows. Mac users have a higher median income than any other desktop platform and there are 100 million Mac users.
From first conversation to shipping Mac build, here's the process without the mystery.

PortJump Update (June 2026): Upcoming Changes to macOS support for Intel-based applications
In late 2027, macOS 28 will drop support for Rosetta, Apple's translation framework for Intel applications. This change will directly impact your PortJump application.
CodeWeavers is aware of these planned macOS changes, and our team has been developing emulation technology to ensure PortJump remains compatible. We are highly confident that we will have a suitable solution ready in time before the release of macOS 28. To that end, we are planning to releasing a beta version of the updated platform by end-2026.
Your end-users may express concern that your application will no longer be supported, due to warning messages appearing on the current version of macOS. While we are unaware of any existing method to suppress specific warning messages from Apple, you can nonetheless advise your customers that an updated version of your software will be available soon.
What changes will I need to make to my application to support this new technology? We do not anticipate that you will need to make any major changes to your application. We expect to be able to update your current PortJump build to our latest CrossOver technology without any changes needed on your side.
Will CodeWeavers let me know when an update is available? Yes! We will be in touch when we are ready to provide you with an update. If you have any particular requirements or requests regarding delivery schedules, beta testing or any further queries, please do not hestitate to get in touch with us.
What if I've not updated to the latest CrossOver build in a while? If you haven't updated to the latest CrossOver technology in a couple of years, you may wish to start a discussion with us about upgrading over the coming months. We can investigate how much work may be required to upgrade to our CrossOver 26 platform and provide you with a bespoke quote for the work; a subsequent upgrade to our native Apple Silicon CrossOver release should then be a simpler process.
I have a Linux port - does this affect me in any way? No, this change only affects macOS ports. If you have both a macOS and Linux port from us, we would usually update them simultaneously to the latest CrossOver version. Our Intel emulation technology for ARM64 is also available on Linux (currently in beta) if you do have a requirement for a native ARM64 Linux port - please contact us to discuss this if it's of interest.
For more details, and FAQs, please see this announcement. Thank you for your time and patience once again as we work on ensuring a smooth and improved user experience for your team and your users.
CodeWeavers worked closely with the AccountEdge team to keep their powerful small business accounting software in the Mac market. For over three decades, AccountEdge has helped small businesses formalize their accounting procedures. Originally MYOB (Mind Your Own Business), the legacy software had been developed for Mac and Windows since 1989. When Apple dropped 32-bit compatibility in macOS Catalina in 2019, they had a decision to make; take on an expensive rewrite of their macOS code, drop Mac support, or find an alternative path.
So Apple encouraged CodeWeavers to get in touch with the AccountEdge team.
