Publication concerning "Assets and Liabilities of Domestically Licensed Banks (Banking Accounts)" and Discontinuation of Publication concerning "Data on Commitment Lines Extended by Japanese Banks"

The Bank of Japan will make changes with regard to the following two statistics.

1. Publication concerning "Assets and Liabilities of Domestically Licensed Banks (Banking Accounts)"

Of the data in "Assets and Liabilities of Financial Institutions, etc.," the Bank will begin posting "Assets and Liabilities of Domestically Licensed Banks (Banking Accounts)" on its web site starting November 2014 (figures for September 2014) in addition to its ongoing provision of the statistics through "BOJ Time-Series Data Search."

2. Discontinuation of Publication concerning "Data on Commitment Lines Extended by Japanese Banks"

The Bank will stop posting on its web site "Data on Commitment Lines Extended by Japanese Banks" after January 2015 (figures for December 2014).

Figures will continue to be available on "BOJ Time-Series Data Search."
