About me

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me. I work on the Movement Strategy team here at Wikimedia Foundation. When I’m not at Wikimedia, I also work a Researcher supporting the research and analysis needs for the partnerships team at the Internet Archive. My previous work has focused on the nexus between politics, economics, digital technology and social justice.

This work has taken me across the globe, and I’ve been lucky to call in Geneva, London, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco home these past few years. I began my career as an intern at Goldman Sachs in 2013. After graduating Boston College with a degree in economics and theological ethics, I went to work in the analyst development program at Trafigura, one of the world’s largest commodities trading houses.

I left the world of finance and commodities trading in late 2015 to join a small technology startup called Workflowy. At Workflowy, I worked with the CEO to help redesign their product development and user research processes. While at Workflowy, I also worked as a freelance investigative reporter on issues of police brutality and systemic racism in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I’m always interested in learning from others and do my best to make time for random coffee and conversation. On the weekends, you’ll often find me hiking, swimming, biking, writing, creating art and cooking. Oh and I like to read a lot. I’m reading a lot of James Baldwin right now!

My work

I work as the Project Associate on the 2017 Movement Strategy Project. Specifically, my work supports Track C leads Juliet Barbara and Caitlin Virtue. Together we are working on research related to our high-awareness regions. This includes developing and building relationships with community members, external stakeholders, and a variety of experts to help guide our strategy work.
