But please note, that with global bot flag You also need to respect local policies and not all wikis have automatic approval, and some wikis do not yet have global bot, so You will need to collect flags there.   But I am somewhat confused by your comment: why are we talking of automatic approval, and of respecting local policies? If you're "only" saying that local approval, or automatic approval is required before editing on wikis that dont use global bots, I understand your point.   Hello, there are some wikis that allow global bots bot not automatic approval, You will have to make a request there before You can edit and global bots also have to respect local policies where they run (apart from only being allowed to be interwikibots, which is the case here anyway), I just mentioned this because I had the feeling that this was not clear to You because of Your note "without having to run around to collect flags". Hi, I am a sysop on gu.wiki and have recently (just yesterday) started using pywiki, mainly to replace spellings on gu.wiki, which is now growing fast. I had run the bot for test last night without creating Bot account (using my main account Dsvyas), just to see whether I can run a bot using pywikipedia.
