  • Confirmed: English Wikipedia. Consensus to be gained: Wikipedia (French, Serbo-Croatian, Dutch, Persian), Wiktionary (French), Wikisource (French). Probably not, but I'll let local organisers decide whether to open a discussion: wikidata and Commons.
What languages will you be targeting?
  • French, English, Serbo-Croatian, Dutch, Persian

    • My reading of the consensus at the enwiki Village Pump is to allow the tamest version of the banner, without a reference to WWU in image or text. I've asked for the organisers in the other languages to open discussions in their local village pumps to see if there are any objections. I'm not sure how useful it is for Commons or Wikidata to have these banners, so not pinged those organisers. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 20:31, 11 August 2026 (UTC) reply
      Hi @Femke, just feel free to collect the links here, once we've designed the banner and campaign, it will be relatively easy to add additional projects or languages. Please ask the local organizers to translate the banner text, so we can use the translations in the campaign.
