Steward requests/SUL requests

Here you can request your account deletion and usurpation on wikis without active bureaucrats, or request the deletion of a global account if you need to be renamed or to usurp an account elsewhere. Please add new requests at the bottom!

If you want to request the renaming of multiple accounts on wikis without local bureaucrats please use the format:

w:en:Thuriaux – log – usurp

I have the "Thuriaux" account on the English wikipedia. I would like to merge accounts across wikipedia to upload a file to wikicommons. However, someone already has a "Thuriaux" account on the french wikipedia site so I cannot merge accounts. Can I get the English language account renamed to "thuriaux.ben"

You can request renaming on en.wp on en:WP:CHUS.

However, since the local account with the most edits always is able to create the global account, if it doesn't exist yet, and since Thuriaux@enwiki has 110 edits at the moment, and Thuriaux@frwiki 116 (and the last one was in 2007), you (Thuriaux@enwiki) can just make 7 more edits and then go to en:Special:Mergeaccount to create the global account. --MF-W 11:06, 17 January 2014 (UTC) [reply ]

Hello, i created the German Rosetta account in June 2008

Around 2011 (i think) i applied for unified global account, which was granted on most wiki sites

But there are a number of languages which could not be unified because they were already taken

Any single of these 'users' did never log in and never edited their user homepage.

I fear it was even myself who created those langauge users. When i created my first wikipedia account i did not know about unification. Later, when i tried unification, i got confused and checked the wrong options and i then managed to loose the applied password. In a second try, i was accepted in some other sites at my second try, and later a steward help request was granted partially.

Now if you look at these langauage sites, it really looks like there is no real person behind them. I'm not even clear about how i could try contact those virtual people (and i'm sure there will be no response) or how long it needs to verify the accounts are just zombies.

I would like to get all these languages into my unified account, although i'm only into spanish and french, but i just can't imagine to have different users with the same name. I would like to start writing or editing articles seriously in my field of expertise, it's just a matter of time.

I wish to usurp the account "Faizan" at Hindi Wikipedia. It is the only wiki that is left after which I would have a unified log in on all wikis. I have failed to find the bureaucrats of Hindi Wikipedia. I have searched the index too, but could not find the Hindi wiki there. Here's the confirmation link.

Note: I am de:Cimbail, active in de:Wikipedia and sometimes in other projects. I just realized that automatic (and manual) login for Meta doesn't work. The current meta-user:Cimbail was created in October 2010, and I am absolutely sure that I created it. Unfortunately, by lack of personal competence or technical failure at the Internet café, something went wrong. There is no e-mail address registered, and none of my passwords work. As there are no edits beside the creation of the account, I suggest to bomb it away, or to merge it manually with my de:wp identity (preserving my German login settings).
