Global blocks don't affect Meta-Wiki, so if your IP address or account is blocked, you can still appeal here. IP addresses or accounts that cause disruption on Meta should be reported at Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat instead of here so that they can be blocked locally.
Please describe the kind of cross wiki abusive activity you see from the IP or account. Saying an IP or account is a long term abuser is not helpful, but saying "IP vandalizes at ban.wikipedia, no.wikipedia and vi.wikipedia" is. This is especially important for range blocks. If you do not provide enough details, your request might be declined.

My BOT is running on google server and this IP falls in the range 35.187.0.0/16. Due to the Global Block, My NeechalBOT is unable to perform various task in Indian Wikipedias. This should be unblocked for logged account and block only for anonymous edits. @Masumrezarock100: Thanks for the quick reply. As said, IPs are dynamic from google end. I can't request exempt. BOT runs in multiple projects so I can't request local exempt. That was the reason I suggest to block only anonymous edits. @Masumrezarock100:1. The BOT has been developed in Google Apps Script & Toolforge doesn't support. 2. I am not that much expert in linux environment to set BOT. 3. This was running for past 5 years in multiple tasks and multiple projects and now it is difficult to migrate. 4.   • Warning! This is not the place to ask for locks based on your opinion that someone is disruptive. Global locks are used exclusively against vandalism and spam, not because of content disputes, not because you think that someone deserves to be globally blocked. In such cases, you should ask for local blocks at appropriate places.
  • If you are globally locked, you should appeal your lock to stewards-appeals@wikimedia.org.
Please describe abusive activity of an account before reporting them here. Since stewards are often not active at projects the reported accounts are, things that seem obvious to you may not be equally obvious to the reviewing steward.
Temporary accounts (those with username format ~20##-#####) can not be globally locked. See #Requests_for_global_(un)block instead for them.

    • Socks of Wonderfool, a former admin who became a cross-wiki vandal years ago. This LTA is known for numerous forms of cross-wiki disruption, including impersonating other admins, gaming the system to obtain admin rights, and disrupting admin-related pages. Please check for sleeper accounts and also Globally Block his IPs (set to anon-only), since he is still socking cross-wiki and using sleeper accounts.     To be clear, whenever I request rangeblocks, they are almost always anon-only blocks, meaning that registered users like you shouldn't be affected. If I request a hardblock (anon editors + registered users), I will specify it, and I rarely make such requests, except in extreme circumstances (such as an LTA trying to compromise accounts from their IP).     Because this is not a real bot, so the username is misleading. They are both here and on Wikipedia. There is no mention of this bot anywhere in the bot requests. CLCStudent (talk) 17:53, 29 July 2019 (UTC) Reply
