Acquia Marina: How do I use or hide the blue stripe

Posted by Cigydd on April 15, 2015 at 10:27pm

Hello everybody,

after a consultation with our graphician I noticed that while I chose Acquia Marina to use on Drupal 6, I am not able to recognize the correct use of the horizontal blue stripe under the primary links menu that goes through the whole page. So it's unused and empty and it takes up precious space.
Would someone be so kind to tell me what text goes in there or how to remove the stripe? Thanks!

Cigydd

Acquia Marina Subtheme Help - Primary menu vertical alignment

Posted by Clone on July 9, 2010 at 11:39am

Hi,

I'm developing a site at the moment and have hit a brick wall that has me going round in loops for weeks now.

Essentially I have a Acquia Marina subtheme that I have created. All works well except for one thing:

I have fixed width and height of the primary divs that contain the links to meet the design requirements.
My issue is that when there is a single line link it aligns to the top of the div. longer links wrap and are aligned vertically correctly (the font and line height allow them to appear vertically centre aligned).

How to make my Acquia Marina site look like the live demo

Posted by cbishop on June 23, 2010 at 10:39pm

What are the steps needed to make my site look like the Acquia Marina Live Demo at:
http://acquiamarina.fusiondrupalthemes.com/

Has anyone ever created step-by-step instructions? I'm doing this to learn how the theme works and to learn more about how to configure Drupal.

I have figured out how to:
* Put the login bar at the top
* Create pages and add them to the Primary Menu to make the Primary Navigation show up
* Add links to the Secondary Menu to make it show up.

But, how do you:
* Make the search box show up next to the secondary menu?

Wrong class assigned to added regions in Acquia Marina 2 sub-theme

Posted by agcilantro on June 17, 2010 at 11:49am

I am working with a sub-theme of Acquia Marina 2. I have copied the info file from Acquia into my sub-theme folder and added 1 additional region in the preface area, so there are now 4 regions. I have renamed them preface_left, preface_middle_left, preface_middle_right and preface_right. I have also copied the page.tpl.php file into my sub-theme folder, changed the names of the regions and added the additional region by copying and pasting the div. I then copied the style.css into my sub-theme folder, added it on the .info file, and put in the following code:

Acquia Marina/Fusion Core with domain themes - a problem !?!

Posted by shushu on May 14, 2010 at 2:47pm

Hello,
I am using domain access and domain theme to create subdomains and to theme them specifically.
Till I started working with Skinr/Fusion/Acquia Marina everything worked fine with setting theme configuration per theme.

Since Acquia Marina and Fusion is such a nice looking theme I decided to move to it, and setup the main domain.com to it, changing all I wanted.

Then I created another subtheme of Fusion (I copied Acquia Marina, and properly changed all of the names) and selected it for my subdomain.domain.com.

Adding a Newsticker to Acquia Marina

Posted by jmbarlow on February 8, 2010 at 11:42pm

I'm a big fan of Acquia Marina, and recently adapted it for a customer's new site and branding. See:

http://www.reachinsurance.co.uk/

I used the Newsticker module to add a scrolling jQuery slogan in the preface section. This was really easy to implement and to theme. If anyone else fancies a go, it's as easy as enabling the module, adding the newsticker block to the preface-first region and pasting the following into your local.css
