I am turning all the free webempoweredchurch templates into Drupal themes. I am trying to implement the different styles for each theme. Could someone point me in the right direction on how to use the color module.

I am trying to customize acquia slate. What is the best way to achieve a desired design? I really know nothing about designing (except for few fundamental concepts).

Can this be done with Panel & Mini Panels alone? If not how difficult it is to customize the template? Do I really need to go down the base code of the template and do the dirty stuff?

Hello all,
I am soon going to launch my church's website. We have leaned toward Drupal for many reasons, mainly it has all of the features the staff asked for initially (calender, photo gallery, staff able to add/modify content).

We have not decided on a host yet, so the official site is non-existent. But, I am a Linux user and have a box to play with and have LAMP running. So I have a testing site at http://jenkins.hopto.org/vhbc .
