Website Needed for Bible Translators

Posted by eaust on November 29, 2015 at 9:23pm

Bible translation teams need a volunteer to develop and maintain a single website that provides 'how to' instructions and documentation for print-on-demand users. This would be a simple, easy-to-navigate site that would be a resource for translation teams in key locations across the globe. This is a strictly volunteer opportunity for anyone wanting to invest in world missions. If interested, contact Ed at joshua22.34@gmail.com.

Clothing Ministry

Posted by dmullens on March 5, 2013 at 9:42pm

Hi All,

Our church is beginning a clothing ministry. I believe it would be helpful to have an online management system. I'm having difficulty in finding something.

Our church website is drupal, but I was hoping to find a (free) solution that we didn't have to manage or upgrade. Kind of line the online church management systems, only geared toward clothing ministries. I was thinking that some type of inventory management system might work.

Utilizing Organic Groups

Posted by dmullens on August 17, 2012 at 4:01am

Hi,

I am trying to utilize organic groups for a group in my church. I would like this to be a private group and have members able to post content, comments, questions, etc.

I have it pretty much setup, however, in order to allow individuals to post content, I've had to give them permission to use the administrative toolbar. This caused me to create a new role (outside of OG).

Is there a better way to accomplish this? Am I really heading in the right direction?

Help finishing up a church Drupal-based site

Posted by teplitz on December 12, 2011 at 3:24am

Our new church website is 85% ready to go live. Our Drupal developer finished the initial development and has left us in the troubleshooting stage. Since he has decided to move on and not complete the project, we are in big trouble. None of us are Drupal programmers. I am the designer. I know a moderate amount of Joomla, Wordpress, Magento and Expression Engine but I am not fluent in Drupal. In order to create a plan to move forward, we need someone to analyze the state of the development.

Three Rivers Baptist Church website on Drupal

Posted by ccoppen on March 17, 2011 at 10:53am

We released this site last year, and I've been making tweaks as I go. It's currently in process of being upgraded from D6 - D7 on my local machine. I have yet to get the sermon section down, but I wanted to get a few ideas from the community on how to make it better. I didn't design the site, someone in our church did that. I just ported his psd to a custom theme.

Drupal Version: 6
Location: Irmo, SC (near Columbia, SC)

New Church Site

Posted by ebrittwebb on December 4, 2010 at 10:50pm

Hi All,

Haven't been very active lately. Too busy with my "day job". But thought I would share that my church just launched a new site on Drupal 6. Check out Church of the Redeemer - Chestnut Hill, MA (Nov 2010 | D6). I also added it to the Churches tab.

The site was done by Theory One Design.

Browsing Sermons by Book and Chapter

Posted by flickerfly on October 6, 2010 at 3:31pm

I have a client who wants to enhance the ways their visitors can browse sermons on the website. The one that currently has me most stymied is replicating what you see here: http://www.keepbelieving.com/scriptures/

Basically, he wants a tab that lists all the books of the bible, when you click on one you get all the chapters in that book. When you click on the chapter, you get all sermons that have to do with that chapter.

Adding the Color Module

Posted by rpeters on March 9, 2010 at 5:10pm

I am turning all the free webempoweredchurch templates into Drupal themes. I am trying to implement the different styles for each theme. Could someone point me in the right direction on how to use the color module.
