help with URL arguments to make REST server output taxonomy fields

Posted by twoblackeyes on October 10, 2012 at 4:47am

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit of a beginner to the Services module. On my site, I have a view that displays taxonomy fields from specific terms, filtered by a term from another vocabulary. For example, I have a vocabulary of terms called "nightclubs" and a vocabulary called "neighborhoods" that's used to sort each nightclub. Each nightclub is associated with a neighborhood via a taxonomy field. My view shows me a list of terms (nightclubs) in whatever neighborhood term is passed through the contextual filter, and a few fields for each term (name, description, address, etc).

Cautiously requesting some framework guidance

Posted by nengisuls on May 12, 2011 at 11:24am

Hey Drupal community,

I have embarked on a bit of a scary journey in the past couple of weeks. I'm in the process of starting my first business, and I decided that eCommerce fit what I had planned. My main purpose for this post is to try to understand what sort of work I am really in for. Could someone please offer their suggestion for a list of applicable modules, and a brief explanation of the things I'll have to learn to complete my sites. For the moment I'll start by explaining the 1st site, because I haven't really done anything for the other 2 yet.

Working meetings ?

Posted by Sloane DellOrto on July 22, 2010 at 5:00pm

As discussed last night at the DUG meeting - is anyone in the Sacramento area interested in setting up a beginner's workgroup? The idea came up because there are so many questions when you're new to Drupal, and sometimes there just isn't enough time in the presentations to get them all answered.

If so, post your ideas as comments and we'll see if we can get something moving. The most convenient time for me would be on Tuesday or Friday evenings, but there is no reason it has to be scheduled around me ... we just need to get it facilitated if we have enough interest.

Basic beginner site building

Posted by LarryZ on June 21, 2010 at 12:19pm

Where does one begin? I do see several beginner oriented topics. I created pages, stories, blocks, blogs, forums, etc., individually. I've been looking at views. Should one just go to views to create the previous items? I learn ways to accomplish things and then later discover something else. Drupal keeps moving forward and improving. What are the tools and techniques one should use today?

Can there be a Drupal only focus? I've seen and heard other such discussions but they always get compounded with PHP, CCK, CCS, Javascript...... Are there differences for Windows users?

Just wanted to say that I'm very happy with the Slate theme

Posted by evaf on August 11, 2009 at 6:42pm

Hi, just wanted to say I'm very happy with the Slate theme. Just built my very first Drupal site with it.
If you want to look, it's here: www.vivamassage.se

This is my very first try at building something with Drupal, so probably the site will change a bit when I
get the hang of it... this is sort of an alpha release... just saw that I cut the bottom off of the white board
at the top because I wanted the front page to fit on a small screen. Will have to replace that board...

But anyway, I'm happy that I got the site up and running and I think the theme is great. ;)
