Hi Drupalista :)

We want to make sure that we are creating a theme system that lives up to the wishes of all Drupal8 users - but especially us themers ;)

Recently we have changed the theming system from phptemplate to twig. So now is a golden opportunity to fix some of the theming assumptions that have been around for the last 6-10 years in Drupal.

The German Drupal Association is currently developing a market survey, targeting all people who
* (try to) make a living of
* are thinking about specializing in
* are corporative users of
Drupal.

We're aiming at gathering valid figures for more solid arguments on various occasions (lobbying activities, negotiations, promotional activities ...)

If anyone or any community fragment has ever outlined a similar survey, we'd be glad to compare and share.

As part of preliminary work on the Commons information architecture for Drupal 7, I'm interested in how many groups people join on an Organic groups site.

Surely everyone is like myself and is a member of twenty or more groups, right? Apparently not!

For example, if we look at group membership on Groups.Drupal.org, we see that nearly 74 percent of GDO users are in only 1-2 groups! However, in aggregate, ~26% of people are in more than two groups.

As some of you know, I lived in India for about 6 years; a few of them developing in Drupal. I am also an Acquia employee (for the past 3 years) and now mostly work in training.

As more organizations are adopting Drupal as their platform of choice for complex web projects the number of development firms offering services is increasing rapidly. How often do relationships with Drupal web development vendors succeed? How often do they fail? Why?

The purpose of this short anonymous survey is to gain insight into the dynamics between Drupal website development firms and their clients. Basically, as a community, we want to take a quick temperature check as to how things are going. If you complete this survey, we’ll share the aggregate results with you.

I'm looking for someone to write an extension to the Webform module, unless someone knows a way to do this with existing modules....

Company X uses the webform module as a repeating monthly survey, to collect a large number of data points. It wants to keep historical trends, so it doesn't want users to edit prior submissions, but users report that it takes too long to complete a new form and that most of the data points don't change from month to month. Therefore, we'd like the following functionality:
