Welcome to WikiProject Water sports. Some Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of water sports and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic.

[edit ]WikiProject Water sports has a few longstanding goals, which are in place to provide a direction for expansion.
- To ensure that all marine-activity related articles are always expanding and being improved.
- Establish a large, active member base.

- Expand : Rename/improve/expand ripcurl, Grain Surfboards; find and add reliable references
- Photo : need better pictures of a windsurfing universal joint (hourglass and tendon type). One photo is currently in Coupling, but it's not an ideal photo.
- Split : Windsurfing related items: make dedicated articles for Windsurfing board (such as article for Surfboard), Mast (windsurfing), and Fin (windsurfing) (such as article for Surfboard fin)
- Unreferenced : Improve/find references for Howard Rice
