Formatting your userboxes

[edit source ]

HELLO MILWAUKEE MAN!

I noticed you didn't know how to format your userboxes so I found it for you!

Wrap your boxes in {{/userboxtop}} and {{/userboxbottom}} (without the slashes!) to keep them in a neat vertical column on the right side of the page :3.

Replicants (The Bear)

[edit source ]

Hey just wanted to ask about this vandalism revert? Is it bc of the curse words or...? That's literally what it said on the pie-chart onscreen so I was transcribing, such as it is. LMK what I can do to explain or improve. best, jengod (talk) 05:29, 5 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Hi! Thanks for the message. I referenced the episode and realized that your edit wasn't vandalism. I reverted without due judgement due to it reading somewhat like vandalism. Sorry about that. TurquoiseGoose (talk) 05:38, 5 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
I mean I am unhinged and way too deep in the lore, so your I instincts are totally legit LOL. Peace ✌️ and thanks 😊 jengod (talk) 05:53, 5 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Hello, @TurquoiseGoose. [1] I've corrected the population of this small tribe. I've also added a different name for the people, which is actually more accurate. TigerPaw01 (talk) 08:19, 5 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit source ]

You have recently edited a page related to living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles, a topic designated as contentious . This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware }} template.

G7 Power

[edit source ]

I appreciate your intentions I am afraid they are misplaced. I am NOT trying to push any advertising. Once again, user of the phone, it's right in front of me right now, before challenging people on "original research" and wasting people's time with totally useless pedantic sabotaging, do your own search online and open a G7 Power and shop for original and aftermarket batteries for them. I cannot add a source for the aftermarket battery because Alibaba links are not allowed. Marketers online overrate these bateries by presenting the maximum rating, but the real rating as written ON THE REAL LIFE BATTERY YOU SHOULD HAVE A LOOK AT BEFORE BEING A PAIN, is as written. Get a life. ~2026-28639-61 (talk) 01:22, 13 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Hi - please remember the policy regarding original research is Wikipedia’s policy and not my personal policy. It’s not up to me (or you) to decide that you can violate it. Also, please focus on subject, and do not make personal attacks. TurquoiseGoose (talk) 01:24, 13 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

It appears that they are spamming vandalism, should we report? Sailing427alt (talk) 01:59, 24 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

I usually wait till after they break the final (level 4) warning, but if you want to report to WP:AIV feel free to! :) TurquoiseGoose (talk) 02:01, 24 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
K, we both warned them at the same time, so I think they are going pretty rapidly Sailing427alt (talk) 02:03, 24 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Draft:Nick Musicz

[edit source ]

Information icon Hi, TurquoiseGoose. Thanks for patrolling new pages. I've declined your deletion request for Draft:Nick Musicz, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, under criterion g11 because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. It doesn't look that promotional to me. The creator has a conflict of interest, but that's not a reason to delete a draft. Please take a moment to read the new tutorial for patrollers, criteria for speedy deletion, and particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Thanks! Chess enjoyer (talk) 02:05, 31 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Thanks! I'll review the criteria. TurquoiseGoose (talk) 02:11, 31 May 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Rollback granted

[edit source ]

Hi TurquoiseGoose. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2026年07月02日. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! TonyBallioni (talk) 03:46, 3 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Notice of Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents discussion

[edit source ]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Edit reversion, no consent. In solidarity, Blue-Sonnet (I'm listening) 08:59, 4 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

This is just FYI since you're the second person to revert them, the report isn't clear at all so don't worry about responding if you don't want to. In solidarity, Blue-Sonnet (I'm listening) 09:00, 4 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

iPhone XR page changes

[edit source ]

Responding to your message: I looked at the changes you reverted. I did not make those edits, or any changes to iPhone XR. Someone may have hijacked my user name. I have no interest in that page, but please unblock me. Cordially, ~~~ BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 13:06, 4 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Hi I'm confused - it doesn't look like I've left a meessage on your talk, and you don't look to be blocked either. I'm not an admin either, and I couldn't have blocked you. TurquoiseGoose (talk) 20:11, 4 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Sakir-Har mistake

[edit source ]

Hello TurquoiseGoose, you are mistaken- I normally type like what I had shown on the Sakir-Har page. It was not AI-Generated, and certainly was not any other application using a technology similar to an AI chatbot. The sources I had given was all reliable, and came from Primary, Modern Scholarly, Hebrew Language, and Archaeological sources; this also includes Background Reference sources. Thank you for you time ~2026-33243-88 (talk) 21:47, 4 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Thank you - I've responded on your talk page. TurquoiseGoose (talk) 21:49, 4 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

explanation

[edit source ]

hello i want to change my user name to my real name that is why i created a user name Faiza mihoubi ...it was by mistake , i thought in this way my username will change but it does not work . please help me to change my user name nedjmati to my real name. thank you in advance Nedjmati (talk) 09:09, 9 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Hi! Normally you can request a name change, but since you've made a new account at your target username it might be more complicated (see WP:RENAME). Since you don't have substantial edits on either account, you can probably just switch to using the account with the name you wanted. TurquoiseGoose (talk) 09:17, 9 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

User talk page guidelines

[edit source ]

Hi! Users are allowed to remove warnings on their own talk page with a few exceptions, and it's considered a sign that they have read the warning, there's no need to revert or warn in this case. Chaotic Enby (in solidarity · talk · contribs) 23:44, 9 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
