Template:R from emoji

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When used with the "Redirect category shell" (Rcat shell) template:

This page is a redirect. The following categories are used to track and monitor this redirect:
  • From an emoji : This is a redirect from an emoji to an article describing the depicted concept or the emoji itself, per WP:REMOJI.
    • Only use {{R from Unicode character }} in addition to this redirect template if the title consists of a single Unicode character. Do not use it for multiple-character emoji sequences, such as skin tone variants or national flags.

Usage

When using Template:Redirect category shell

{{R from emoji}}
}}

When used individually

#REDIRECT[[(target page name)]]
{{R from emoji}}

The name of the emoji should be added using the |1= parameter. This helps identify the emoji and also sort it by its name.

Flags

If the emoji is a flag, |flag= should be set.
