Mayoral elections in Jackson, Tennessee
Mayoral elections in Jackson are held every four years to elect the mayor of Jackson, Tennessee in the United States.
All Jackson municipal elections are required to be non-partisan, but candidates can be affiliated with a political party. Jackson uses a two-round system, where election runoffs are held if no candidate obtains the majority of the vote.[1]

The 2015 Jackson mayoral election was held on May 5, 2015, to elect the mayor of Jackson. Incumbent Independent Mayor Jerry Gist won re-election with 51.47% of the vote, with former Democratic state senator Lowe Finney coming in second.[2]
This two-round election took place alongside other 2015 Jackson elections, including races for City Council.[3]

The 2019 Jackson mayoral election was held on May 7, 2019, and on June 18, 2019 (as a runoff), to elect the next mayor of Jackson. Incumbent Independent [5] Jerry Giat did not seek re-election.[6] [7] Independent candidate Scott Conger won the general runoff election, becoming mayor at 35 years old.[8]
This two-round election took place alongside other 2019 Jackson elections, including races for City Council.[9]

The 2023 Jackson mayoral election was held on May 2, 2023, and on June 13, 2023 (as a runoff), to elect the mayor of Jackson. Incumbent Independent Mayor Scott Conger won re-election in the runoff with 58.11% of the vote[12] [13]
