Transit Layer

  • This example demonstrates how to display the public transit network of London using the Google Maps JavaScript API.

  • It uses the TransitLayer class to overlay transit data onto a basic map centered on London.

  • The code provides implementations in both TypeScript and JavaScript, with the JavaScript version being compiled from TypeScript.

  • The sample includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript code to create a fully functional web page displaying the map.

  • Users can interact with the sample via provided links to JSFiddle, Google Cloud Shell, or by cloning and running the code locally.

This example creates a map that displays the public transit network of London, UK.
