Compute Routes and Compute Route Matrix

The Routes API service includes two methods: Compute Routes returns the ideal route between two locations, and Compute Route Matrix returns distances and travel times for a matrix of routes between different origin and destination locations.

Compute Routes

Provide directions with real-time traffic for transit, biking, driving, 2-wheel motorized vehicles, or walking between multiple locations.

Calculate travel times and distances for multiple destinations for up to 625 route elements.

Route two-wheeled vehicles

Two-wheeler refers to two-wheeled motorized vehicles. This mode differs from the bicycle travel mode, which is a human-powered travel mode.

Calculate toll fees

For select cities, you can compute the estimated toll fee for a route in the appropriate currency.

Configure eco-friendly routes

Estimate an eco-friendly route showing the most fuel or energy efficient route based on your vehicle's engine type.

Request traffic information on the polyline

Request information about traffic conditions along a traffic-aware polyline.

Stream results from Compute Route Matrix

Return results as they’re available for faster latency.

Use the vehicle stopover qualifier
