Gas Rate Plan

This Rate Plan is for general customers who use both electricity and city gas. By signing up for an applicable electricity Rate Plan, you can enjoy even better savings.

You can save on your gas bill by signing up for a set of applicable electricity Rate Plan (Smart Family Plan [Gas Set], Smart Business Plan [Gas Set], JAL Denki B, JAL Denki C). The amount you save is determined by your electricity Contract ampere or Contracted Electricity Capacity and your monthly gas usage.

• Electricity 30 amps, 250 kWh/month is our published model. Gas 23 m3/month is Saibu Gas' published model.
  Electricity rates are calculated based on the unit price from April 1, 2024, and Adjustments for fuel costs, etc. (July 2024: 2.31 yen/kWh), Renewable Energy Generation Promotion Surcharge (FY2024: 3.49 yen/kWh), and the equivalent of consumption tax, etc.

Even if you are not subscribed to an applicable electricity Rate Plan, you can still get a discount on your gas bill. The amount of the discount is determined by your monthly gas usage.

• The unit price includes the equivalent of consumption tax, etc.

• The gas bill for "Kyuden Gas" is calculated as the sum of the "Base charge," "metered charge," and "Discount for multiple contracts."
  
• The "Base charge" and "metered charge" are determined by the applicable rate schedule according to your monthly gas usage.
  
• The "Discount for multiple contracts" is determined based on your electricity contract details and monthly gas usage.

This is a great Rate Plan for those who use gas for cooking, hot water, and heating. You will receive a 10 yen discount for every cubic meter of gas used from the Saibu Gas rate (Home Merit). Those who use high-efficiency water heaters and bathroom heater/dryer will also receive an even better deal.

1. Your electricity contract will be a set contract with one of the following electricity Rate Plan: Smart Family Plan (Gas Set), Smart Business Plan (Gas Set), JAL Denki B, or JAL Denki C.​
   
2. Anyone who owns gas kitchen appliances, gas hot water appliances, and gas heating appliances can sign a contract.

This is a great Rate Plan for those who use gas floor heating. You will receive a 5 yen discount for every cubic meter of gas used from the Saibu Gas rate (Hot Merit). Those who use a high-efficiency water heater or bathroom heater/dryer will also receive an even better deal.

1. Your electricity contract will be a set contract with one of the following electricity Rate Plan: Smart Family Plan (Gas Set), Smart Business Plan (Gas Set), JAL Denki B, or JAL Denki C.​
   
2. Anyone who has a gas floor heating device can apply for this service.

This is Rate Plan that will save you money if you have an electricity Rate Plan where the rate varies depending on the season or time of day, such as when you use an electric water heater or an eco-cute. The amount you save is determined by your monthly gas usage.

• You can sign up even if you do not have an electric water heater or EcoCute, but your electricity contract will be combined with one of the following electricity Rate Plan All Electric Nighttime Select, Ohisama​ ​Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use Plan, Lighting by Time Slot, Lighting in Peak Shifts, or High-Load Lighting Plan.

• The unit price includes the equivalent of consumption tax, etc.

If you use Kyushu Electric Power Power and apply for "Kyuden Gas," your electricity Rate Plan will change to a "set contract exclusive plan" if you fall under Pattern 1 or Pattern 2 below. If you do not wish to make a change, or if you fall under Pattern 3 below, we will check your current electricity contract status and introduce you to the optimal plan, so please apply by phone.

1. Set contracts are limited to cases where electricity and gas are at the same demand location and under the same Customer name.
   
2. While there is a limit to the fuel cost adjustment for "Residential lighting B" and "Time-of-Use Residential lighting C," there is no limit for "Smart Family Plan (Gas Set)," "Smart Business Plan (Gas Set)," "JAL Denki B," and "JAL Denki C." Therefore, if fuel prices rise sharply, the fuel cost adjustment amount may be higher for "Smart Family Plan (Gas Set)," "Smart Business Plan (Gas Set)," "JAL Denki B," and "JAL Denki C." Therefore, depending on your contract status and electricity usage, etc., even if you would save money based on an estimate that does not take the fuel cost adjustment amount into account, you may not save money by subscribing to "Smart Family Plan (Gas Set)," "Smart Business Plan (Gas Set)," "JAL Denki B," or "JAL Denki C."
   
3. Depending on your current electricity usage, your electricity bill may increase if your electricity Rate Plan is changed. If you would like an individual estimate, please contact us by phone. In addition, a change in your electricity rate plan may require work to replace your electricity meter.
