    Dans la partie qui concerne le kernel je note ceci :

    X86 "SMP alternatives" (optimizes a single kernel image at runtime according with the available platform)

    Pourtant quand on regarde l'annonce par Linus de la dernière release candidate du noyau 2.6.18 on trouve ceci :

    It contains a lot of fixes; one of those is the removal of much of the SMP alternatives work, which was causing build problems with some compilers.

    Donc soit Red Hat propose une technologie non mature, soit ils ont patché leur noyau à eux sans que ça remonte pour l'instant en upstream ?
