TuxRadar s'est prêté[1] récemment à ce jeu et a mis côte à côte Slitaz, Crunchbang[2], Puppy[3] (dont la variante fr est Toutou[4]), Damn Small Linux[5], Lubuntu[6], Tiny Core[7], Unity Linux[8] et enfin VectorLinux[9].
Chacune a été testée sur un Pentium 200Mhz doté de 256Mo de RAM. Le choix du magazine s'est porté sur Slitaz, qui finit première devant Crunchbang :
