L'Angleterre sur les traces des Etats-Unis: la firme British Photographic Industry Ltd est en train de lancer une campagne dans les universités anglaises pour empêcher la copie et la diffusion illégales de fichiers vidéo et audio par le biais du P2P.
Voici un extrait du courrier envoyé aux étudiants d'une université britannique:
"The British Photographic Industry Ltd (BPI) has started a campaign
targeting all UK universities. Their objective is to use the courts to
clamp down on the illegal copying of music and video files.
The BPI has this week issued a Cease and Desist Notice to one UK
university in respect of the activities of a student who was allowing
illegal copies of music files to be downloaded from his computer by
other Internet users.
You must ensure that you do not commit or allow any such activity on your computer.
REMEMBER - It is illegal to make a copy of any copyright material unless you have an explicit licence to do so. It is *not* legal to make a copy of a CD track just because you have bought the CD."
