xrandr est fonctionnel mais uniquement en ligne de commande.
rpmbuild construit maintenant un paquet debuginfo pour debugger les programmes avec gdb sans tout recompiler pour avoir les symbols. http://www.gurulabs.com/files/RELEASE-NOTES-RHL9.html(...) :

Tout les outils de configuration sont redhat maintenant. Il commence tous par redhat-config-* . redhat-config-smb a été ajouté (enfin).

La rh9 est basé sur un 2.4.21-pre4-ac4 (mais heureusement afficher 2.4.20).
On apprend que ACPI reste encore loin d'être parfait :
