The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, through the
National Academy of Public Administration , and the
Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration , will be hosting the 2023 EROPA Conference and General Assembly on
17 - 20 October 2023 with the theme:
"The Role of Public Governance in Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Towards the Sustainable Development Goals". The sub-themes of the conference are the following:
- Socio-Economic Recovery and Development: Issues Raised and the Need for Renewal of Public Governance
- Renewal of Public Governance to Promote Socio-Economic Recovery and Development
- Building Public Governance Capacity to Promote Socio-Economic Recovery and Development
Scholars and practitioners are invited to submit papers for presentation. The Carlos P. Ramos for Best Conference Paper (comprised of a certificate of recognition and cash incentive) shall be conferred to the most outstanding paper presented at the conference. Abstracts, full papers, PowerPoint presentations, and other concerns are to be sent to

The National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) was founded in 1959 to provide undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate education in law, administration, and government management for students and public servants in Vietnam. It is a national training center for public administration, leadership, public management, public governance, and civil service ethics for cadres, civil servants, public employees, public leaders, and managers at all levels who are capable of fulfilling the assigned tasks, loyal to the Party’s ideology and the revolutionary cause, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people. It also trains high-quality human resources in all fields in public management, public policy, and state management. NAPA conducts scientific research, reviewing theoretical and practical issues and providing scientific arguments for building an enabling, serving, rule-of-law administration with integrity.
By 2030, NAPA will become a center for training and research on administration, leadership, public management, public governance, and public policy in the Asia-Pacific region. It will develop into an online training institution for cadres, civil servants, and public employees, significantly contributing to building a contingent of cadres, civil servants, public employees, public leaders, and managers capable of developing an enabling, serving, rule-of-law administration with integrity.
