Past Research Projects
Empirical analysis of the effectiveness of training programsTraining and Dialogue Programs carried out in Japan, which constitute one of the major parts of technical cooperation by JICA, come under increasing scrutiny in recent years from a viewpoint of "effectiveness." With this in mind, this study examines how training participants as well as dispatching organizations have been mobilizing knowledge gained in Japan in detecting their organizational deficiencies and institutionalizing solutions thereof. The analysis will illuminate multi-faceted meanings of the programs and provide policy implications for possible future improvement in conducting trainings.
