Compilation and Use of the Asian International Input-Output Database
Outline
The Institute of Developing Economies has compiled and published international input-output tables for Asia-Pacific countries for over 40 years, but has not released them on a regular basis since publishing the 2005 Asian table. However, there is a strong need for more recent Asian tables. Against this background, this study aims to construct a more recent Asian table(s) that is consistent with the Asian tables prior to 2005, and to publish it together with past tables as a database.
