Interdisciplinary Approach in the Research on the History of Politics and Economy in Colonial West Africa
Outline
Over the past last-century, comprehensive historical study on politics and ecomomy which encompasses the whole area of colonial West Africa has not been published in Japanese. This lack hinders the development of study in this area as well as in the era. To solve this problem, this research aims to establish a plan of research project to renew the study of colonial West Africa through the interdisciplinary collaboration of political history and anthropology.
