Constitution and politics in Sub-saharan Africa(2020_1_40_003)

Outline

In Sub-Saharan Africa, there has been a focus on the struggle between two parties: autocratic leaders that hope to continue their rule as long as possible and pro-democracy camps that hope is to consolidate democracy and the rule of law in their respective countries. Focusing on such political events in recent years, this research project conducts a case study of several African countries. In grappling with this relatively uninvestigated subject, this project expects to contribute to a deeper understanding of state and politics in Africa.
