Producer impacts of minimum wages in South Africa (2020_2_40_016)

Outline

Here, we reveal producer responses to minimum wage in a developing country. Minimum wage impacts in developing countries are rarely studied with demand-side data despite a promise to uncover causal pathways. The proposed study employs first-difference (FD) estimates on agricultural production with data from satellite imagery.

Period

April 2020 - March 2022
