Preliminary to the Scientometric Analysis of Japanese Studies on Developing Countries (2019_1_40_011)

Outline

In this report, our ultimate goal is to objectively observe the entire structure of Japanese studies on developing countries and the changes therein, all using scientometrics. However, no database for this, which would be indispensable for scientometric analysis, has been constructed. Therefore, our project tries to build up a small-scale database and conduct an analysis of such in order to examine the effectiveness and feasibility of a scientometric approach as a first step toward our goal.
